Heading down the new Silk Road

Belt and Road initiatives are likely on the way in the form of Xi Jinping’s new Silk Road Economic Belt. That old historic trade route will be making a modern comeback highlighting transportation infrastructure, easier investment and trade, financial cooperation and cultural exchange among regional neighbors. Currently stretching from New Zealand to Saudi Arabia, Russia to Pakistan, here is the timeline of its formation so far.
